FINAL DESIGN-front cover

This is the overall design for my front cover. I am very happy with how it turned out. I have used a range of different fonts and sizing, and have also got s colour scheme. I'm glad that I chose to use the natural photo as I think that it shows the true colour and sense of the image. The title changed many times but this design is very modern and fit for the target audience intended.

textual analysis of 'broadchurch'

Broadchurch S1 - E1 - 45 mins - ITV In the intro, diegetic sounds that you'd expect to hear on the street, such as cars, fades gradually into a non-diegetic soundtrack. The plain empty setting created a tense atmosphere along with the prolonged music. Extreme long shot, slightly high angle shot, establishing shot. The sequence before the title captured the audience in with suspense as they were gripped onto the horrific idea of what they thought was going to happen, but as the story progressed they soon came to realise its the complete opposite. The lighting and the way the picture is presented also creates quite an unusual, sinister feel. Overhead shot, master shot. Started off as just seeming like a regular day for the family. Gives the audience false hope and dramatises the next event. I have edited the title font to be more modern and bold for the target audience. I have also used a mixture of fonts to add variety and character to the cover. The price has increased to £4.25 as it is only a seasonal magazine so doesn't need to be as cheap as £3.00. I intend to add some more cover lines and text as well.  For the double page spread,   I need to take a shot of the footage from the film to add to this page. I will also add another paragraph to my article.
