FINAL DESIGN-front cover

Image
This is the overall design for my front cover. I am very happy with how it turned out. I have used a range of different fonts and sizing, and have also got s colour scheme. I'm glad that I chose to use the natural photo as I think that it shows the true colour and sense of the image. The title changed many times but this design is very modern and fit for the target audience intended.

magazine cover edit

I have decided that after editing, I am going to use natural pictures for my magazine as I feel that they give a more realistic magazine feel than the edited ones. I used Adobe Photoshop to trial edit various designs, but overall I prefer the natural image.

FINAL DESIGN-double page spread

Image
This is my overall design. I felt that the images needed to be enlarged to really show off the film and character. I have taken away the arrow as it felt quite childish and not something you would usually see in a lifestyle magazine for millennials.

update on double page spread

Image
I have taken screenshots from my filming to add to the "exclusive" interview. One I have used in the film (the top image )and one was just a clip from behind the scenes during filming (the bottom image). I also put in an arrow showing what the pictures are, and also a slight border around the two images to define them.

update on magazine

I have added a few more cover lines and also a tab at the bottom, that is very common with lifestyle magazines. I have added a bit more colour to these pages, and also made the text easier to read against the background.

magazine so far

I have edited the title font to be more modern and bold for the target audience. I have also used a mixture of fonts to add variety and character to the cover. The price has increased to £4.25 as it is only a seasonal magazine so doesn't need to be as cheap as £3.00. I intend to add some more cover lines and text as well.  For the double page spread,   I need to take a shot of the footage from the film to add to this page. I will also add another paragraph to my article.

new article for magazine

How did you get the job? Tyler-Jae - “My agent called me up and said that he had organised an audition for a big role for me. Basically, I auditioned and after a couple months they phoned my agent telling him that I got the job!” What sort of roles do you prefer? Tyler-Jae - “I like mysterious roles, so this one was perfect for me. My favourite genre to star in is crime, as I love the creepiness of it all.” Who is you favourite cast member? Tyler-Jae - “No! I don’t like picking favourites! That’s unfair! I love everyone equally.” What was your favourite scene to film? Tyler-Jae - “Ah that’s got to be the computer scene. It was so easy for me, all I had to do was sit there and type ha-ha! All jokes aside though, it was kind of creepy, like it was dead silent, and everything was just focused on the contents of the computer screen. What did you think of the film? Tyler-Jae - “Well, overall, I think it was phenomenal. When I went to watch the premier, I...
