With the brief specifying that my TV programme should be fit for ITV or Channel 5, I researched what sort of programmes were listed to show on those channels.
ITV seemed to show talk/news shows, factual programmes such as cooking shows and documentaries, and also soaps. There are also many game and talent shows, and dramas such as 'Lethal Weapon'.
Throughout the morning on Channel 5, from around 6am-9am, young children's programmes are shown. During the day, like ITV, many news shows and soaps are shown. There also seems to be a range of factual shows that are presented by celebrities.
The one product that I have thought about making so far is a drama, such as a crime drama. I feel like choosing this over a talk or talent show will let me fulfil the requirements of my coursework, and will also be an easier type of audio visual to include one of the sequences that I have to use.
