my pitch

Title: Zealous A single episode drama following from the killers view of one innocent girls murder. A zealous sister needs to find peace. This heart stopping, British crime drama following a journey of investigation leaves audiences wanting more. Will the bewildering enigma ever be solved?

update

My initial intentions were to complete all of my filming during the summer and then any improvements during autumn, but I decided that I would have preferred an autumnal setting so I did not film during summer. Another reason towards my decision was due to absence of cast. The cast that I have organised and I were never around enough at the same time during summer, due to holidays or generally just being busy. I also need to get my shooting schedule approved before filming, which I can't get until I go back to school. Due to this hold up on filming, I have taken the summer to perfect all of my work that I completed beforehand, such as the research. My next step now is to start filming now that the summer is over.

location idea no.2

Image
Open and scarce fields that could be a possible location for the murder and flashbacks scene.  Dark alleyway with light at the end.  Various pathways for the victim to be chased down. Woodland setting, mysterious, lots of vegetation. Not many people walk through here.

location idea no.1

Image
Eery staircase-gave a sinister feel. The 'abandoned' swing-creepy. Overgrown vegetation. Open field. Scarce setting. Could be a possible setting for the beginning of my film. An unfinished housing estate. Open field again. Single unfinished/abandoned looking house in an open field. Sinister. Possible pathways for victim to be chased down. Woodland/hidden setting. Broken fence. Looks unused, discarded and rejected. Scarce of movement. Is quiet and peaceful, yet has an uneasy aspect to the atmosphere.
